As we celebrate the Easter Season, I want to welcome you back to gathering as a church family on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. Bishop Robert M. Coever has reinstated the obligation to attend Mass in person.
Over the course of the past two years, our Parish has safely adapted to the Coronavirus pandemic and many of you have been attending Sunday Mass in person. I especially encourage you to invite family members, friends, neighbors and anyone who will benefit from sharing with us the Resurrection of Jesus during this joyful time of the Church’s liturgical year.
As always, if you are not feeling well or have a medical condition that puts you are risk attending Mass physically in person, Church law does not bind you. We will continue to stream the 5 p.m. Saturday Mass and the 11:30 a.m. Sunday Spanish Mass on our Facebook page for a period of time.
Having celebrated Jesus’s victory over death, let us approach the Easter season with renewed hope in God’s saving grace through the Risen Lord. Let us rejoice once more that His grace can provide us consolation from the sorrows we may have suffered through the pandemic and bring us to newness of life in the hope and joy of Easter.
