Introduction:
The fundamental bases on which this society is built upon are, Jesus Christ our Lord and the protection of Our Blessed Mother Mary. It is also a society of charity and love in service to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; in and through our brothers and sisters of our Parish Community.
General Objectives:
A) To promote and foster unity, respect, love and devotion to Our Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother Mary.
B) To promote and foster fraternity, brotherhood and friendship among the members of the community.
C) To promote their spirituality as children of God; Sunday Mass (and weekly if possible). The devotion of the Holy Rosary, the stations of the cross, holy hours and the biblical reflections will be helpful for the growth of faith.
D) Accepting opportunities as children of God: visiting the sick, in their homes and in the hospital. Visiting people of the community who do not practice their faith.
E) To celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart on the Friday after the octave of the Feast of Corpus Christi.
Chapter I
Guidelines and Mission of the Society:
The Society has as its Mission, to increase the presence of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; in the Parroquial Community giving testimony of the Gospel following the example of Mary our Mother.
Guidelines:
In order to fulfill their Mission they will observe the following guidelines:
A) every month the General director will assign a spiritual theme for the members and will call a retreat twice a year.
B) An open invitation should be made to none members to encourage others to be part of the men’s society.
C) All the members will participate in the triple Mission of Our Lord Jesus Christ:
1. Prophetical Pastoral:
The members will take part in the Evangelization programs according to the guidelines of the Parroquial Community.
2. Liturgical Pastoral:
With great dedication, respect and responsibility they will fulfill the Ministry which has been entrusted to them as:
* Ministers of Holy Communion.
* Lectors—Proclaimers of the Word of God
* Ushers.
* Music Ministers, etc….
3. Social Pastoral:
This is most easily and effectively realized in accord with the General Director. The society will seek as its goal, true SERVICE to the Community of the Faithful.
Chapter II
Structure: Executive Board

Responsibilities
General Director:
The development and function of the Executive Board of the Society in spiritual and material matters are under the direction of the Pastor or his representative. For this reason, the Pastor and his representative are official members of the Executive Board.
· The Pastor (associate pastor or deacon) will serve the spiritual growth of the members.
· Be present at the meetings (when available).
· Lead the prayer.
· Prepare and present the theme to the members
President:
· Organize and prepare the agenda with the assistance of the General Director and the Secretary.
· conduct meetings.
· give and ask for the reports.
· Plan activities with the help of the members.
· Take accounting of the members participation.
· He is responsible for fraternity between the members.
Vice-President:
Assumes Presidents responsibilities, if President incapacitated, lead special committees, will be available to take the president’s duty in his absence. Also, will collaborate with the officers and members.
Secretary:
· Should be present in all the meetings, take notes of what is approved or rejected and so records these acts.
· Collaborate and work together with the president and all members.
· Keep in good order all the records.
· Prepare the agenda with the president and the General Director.
· Keep record of the name, address and phone numbers of all the members.
Treasurer:
¨ As good administrator, with attention and respect, should receive and administrate the money that belongs to the Society.
¨ Keep record of incoming and outgoing money in a monthly bases, be prepared for audit– called by Director– President or majority vote.
¨ Give a monthly report to the Pastor at the end of each month.
¨ As soon as possible make deposits to Bank. Keeping only a minimum necessary amount of funds on hand.
¨ Keep accurate records.
¨ Always remember that the money existing in the treasure
belongs to the society which he serves.
¨ Give a monthly report to the General Director and to the Finance Council as well as to the members of the Society.
¨ An annual report should be given to the Parroquial Community.
Members:
· Attend the monthly meetings.
· Fulfill these directions to honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus and our Blessed Mother Mary.
· Collaborate in all ways possible to keep good order and respect during the general meetings.
· Offer your services whenever needed.
· Be concerned of the wellbeing of your brothers of the society.
· Maintain a balanced faith life.
Meetings:
On the first Sunday of every month or whenever is the most appropriate day.

Chapter III
Admission of New Members
1. It is recommended that all the members (in every way possible) live a worthy life, according to the call they have received; giving testimony of the Gospel of Jesus and the devotion to our Blessed Mather Mary.
2. Persons who wish to join the Society, will make application to the General Director (the Pastor) and to the committee; who will take the needed information.
3. They have the right to attend the retreat, to be more conscience of their rights and responsibilities. The admission shall take place the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus celebrated on the Friday after the octave of the Feast of Corpus Christi.
4. Distinctive: (Badge)
It will be a medal with the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Chapter IV
Election of Member of the Board
1. The officers will be nominated and elected by VOTE in the regular meeting of the Society.
2. In preparation for the elections mention will be made to the Pastor and elections announced beforehand in the parish bulletin.
3. Term of office will be three years except for incapacity on the part of the member of the board.
4. It is recommended that officers not be re-elected for consecutive terms of service in the society, that others may have the opportunity to participate and serve.
