Max Ledesma grew up in St. Michael's Parish and has been a member for 70 years. He is retired from Acme Brick after 26 years. He has served as a music minister for the 11:30 p.m. Mass for many years and has provided leadership as the coordinator of the Jamaica Committee.  He is a member of the Sagrado Corazón. He and his wife Janie, who is also involved in music ministry, have five grown children: Melinda Ledesma, Missy Armstrong, Marylou Ledesman, Michelle Cervantez and Maximo R. Ledesma. Max served as a member of the Levelland City Council for 10 years. He says his involvement in Church activities has helped him listen to what parishioners need and want. He wants to bring the word of the people to the Parish Council and to encourage church members to become more involved in activities and church gatherings.
