Fr. Jonathan Phillips will lead a special pilgrimage June 6 for the Spanish Community to celebrate the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock. The group will leave St. Michael Church at 5:30 p.m. and Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. Bus transportation will be available, but space will be limited. St. Michael CCE will host Vacation Bible School, Zoomerang, June 26-30. Children grades Pre-K to 5th are invited to participate. Instruction and activities will center on Returning to the Value of Life. Daily sessions are 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Education Center. There is no cost to attend but donations will be accepted. St. Michael Catholic Church’s youth program will host a summer co-ed Youth Sand Volleyball League that is open to all youth in the Levelland community. The league will include two age divisions, which include middle school 6th to 8th grade and high school and recent graduates under age 20. Deadline to register a team is June 1.
