Knights of Columbus Council #4542 will host its 1st Annual Golf Tournament Saturday, June 10 at the Sundown Municipal Golf Course. The tournament will be a four-person scramble that will tee off at 10 a.m. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per team. A meal will follow the tournament. St. Michael Parish will celebrate First Holy Communion for CCE students at the 5:00 p.m. Mass on May 6 and at the 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Masses on Sunday, May 7. Students will also participate in the traditional Crowning of Mary processional at the beginning of Mass.
St. Michael Parish will celebrate high school and college graduates during the 9 a.m. Mass on Sunday, May 21. Graduates are asked to wear their caps, gowns and honor cords and to provide a photo for a slide show presentation that is being prepared. Please submit your photos to the Parish Office.
Parish Musician Joe Salinas will lead the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 5 p.m. each day Monday, April 17 through Friday, April 21 in the church. All are welcome to join in prayer to the Divine Mercy of Jesus.

The Knights of Columbus will host a Fish Fry on each Friday during Lent from 5:00-7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Cost is $12 a plate for adults and $6 a plate for children 10 and younger. Carry out plates are $12. Menu includes fried fish, french fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, pinto beans, dessert and tea. The fish fry dinner will be held March 10, 17, 24 and 31.
Join St. MIchael Parish in praying the Stations of the Cross at 7:00 p.m. each Friday during Lent beginning February 24 in the church. Stations of the Cross on March 3 and Good Friday will be at 6:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help read, sign, and serve as cross and candle bearers. St. Michael Parish will host the 38th Annual Sausage Lovers Festival Sunday, Feb. 26. The festival will feature a homemade German-Style link sausage dinner with all the trimmings, along with musical entertainment, silent and live auctions and a drawing for a 2022 Jeep Compass Latitude 4x4 SUV. Children in St. Michael's CCE and Youth Programs will present a Nativity Play following the 7:00 p.m. Children's Mass on Christmas Eve. All are invited to attend.
St. Michael Parish will celebrate Las Posadas Dec. 19-23 at 7 p.m. each evening in the Parish Hall. The celebration will start with prayer, followed by food, Piñata and candy. Come remember the journey that Joseph and Mary made from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a safe refuge where Mary could give birth to the baby Jesus.
The Guadalupanas invite everyone to pray together a Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe beginning Sunday, Dec. 4 and Monday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. in the Chapel. All other days of the Novena will be at 6 p.m. in the Chapel.
Children in CCE are invited to participate in a planned Nativity Play that will be performed Christmas Eve in the Church. You may sign-up your child after Masses in the foyer of the church through Dec. 3. Practice begins Dec. 11. Older youth are also invited to help with the play. Fr. Dawid Kwiatkowski, a pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church in Richmond Hill, GA, will visit our Parish from Dec. 1-6 and will present Advent Missions on Sunday, Dec. 4 in English and Monday, Dec. 5 in Spanish. The program begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Church. Families with children in CCE and Youth Programs are especially encouraged to participate in one of the Missions.
The 2nd Annual Fall Festival is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Fun for the entire family with costume contest, games, prizes, food, cake walk, candies, and silent action. No scary costumes please. Proceeds benefit the Parish CCE Program.

The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process whereby St. Michael Catholic Church welcomes new members to the Catholic Faith. Classes for both adults (18 years and older) and youth (7-17 years) who have not been baptized in the Catholic Church began Saturday, Sept. 24. You can join the program anytime. Join Deacon Frankie Ruiz and Deacon Jesse Moreno for Bible Study each Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Church. They will begin with the Liturgy of the Hours (Evening Prayer) and then open Scripture together for reading, reflection and discussion. All interested individuals are welcome to participate, especially parents whose children are participating in the Youth Programs.
We welcome Father Hilario Rivera of Cross Catholic Outreach who is speaking this weekend (Sept. 17-18) at all Masses on behalf of the poor in developing countires. Cross Catholic Outreach was founded to create a meaningful link between parishes in America and the priest and nuns working in the Church overseas in the Caribbean, Africa, Asia Central and South America.
